Economic Valuation Of Ebinur-Lake Wetlands

Wetlands is a unique ecosystems which has multi-purpose, it is the richest biodiversity of the natural ecological landscape and the most important survival environment for human, been hailed as "the natural kidney."It not only has abundant resources, but also has tremendous environmental regulation and environmental benefits, if different users make decision of the way on development and utilization of wetland resources according with their own interests and needs, it will often ignored or even destroy wetlands'other features and benefits. Therefore ,science and comprehensive to evaluate the function and effectiveness of various types of wetlands can not only promote the survey and inventory of wetlands , provide comparable and the extensive use of the data for the monitoring and research of wetlands, will help to improve the Research, monitoring and protection and utilization level of China's wetlands, but also provide reliable scientific basis for the wetlands in the planning and development and to ensure the sustainable use of wetlands and resources.This paper takes Ebinur-Lake Wetlands as research object. on the basis of collecting and collating information on Ebinur Lake wetlands,it Systematically introduced the multiple functions of wetlands, and to study its function value,use value and property value. Analysis its ecological environment and its ecological functions, and make a more comprehensive economic evaluation. And study the shrinking reasons of the Ebinur Lake from two aspects.From the evaluation results of study area, the ecological environment of Ebinur Lake wetland plays an important role in flood storage, regulation of climate, maintaining biodiversity and so on.The total economic valueof the wetland is 360.83×108RMB/a,among them the function value is 289.85×108RMB/a,the use value is 41.33×108RMB/a,the attribute value is 29.65×108RMB/a . Through the comprehensive evaluation to the wetland resources of study area, made a number of feasibility advice, with a view to summarize the feasibility of measures to management the environment of Ebinur Lake wetland.Because the indirect use value of wetlands is very complicated, this assessment is only a part of it, and the method is not very mature, this paper is not totally guessing its true economic value, subject to the future study.
