| Desertification is a threat to human survival and sustainable development of society as amajor environmental and socio-economic problem, and it is the focus of world attention.Desertification academic research has become a hot issue of common concern. Ebinur Lakebasin is located on Mutetaer desert west, and is typical of ecological environment vulnerableareas and sensitive area, and it is the typical oasis desertification area in China, and is a hotpoint of desertification occurrence and development of Xinjiang recent years. This study areais located in Ebinur lake basin, the middle of the range distribution in the Ebinur lake basin. In the past 20 years, with the population increases, the vigorous development of agriculture, land desertification developed strongly in the east of the study area. the development istypical, and the desertification process has a certain representation. In the west of Ebinur lake, because of human factors, green space increased, and desertification land declined. In this paper, we have these data, including modern history data, the land use maps of1995 and 2003, and the soil type map 1:1000000 of 2005, and vector data in the study area in1990, 2001, 2007and 2010, and Landsat TM / ETM + image data. Firstly,we used ENVI4.7remote sensing image processing software to access Landsat TM / ETM + image data and gotthe classification figure of the study area of land desertification, and then under theARCGIS9.3 software vector four data, spatial overlay, the study area was established nearly20 years of GIS database of land desertification. Secondly, relying on the database ofdesertification analyzed, identified the research area spatial and temporal variations of landdesertification in last 20 years. Finally, to fully explore the main driving factors of landdesertification on the basis of analysis of the development trend of land desertification andsand control measures proposed in the study area. The results show that: in this study area, the condition of desertification of 2001 in thepast 20 years was in the best condition. The land area of desertification took up 41.3% of the total area. Thereinto, the mild desertification accounted for 75% of the land area ofdesertification, and the desertification of land mainly in the eastern part of the study area, the west of Ebinur lake; in the past 20 years, the study area experienced a strong reversal ofdesertification (1990 -2001 years) - stability and development (2001 -2007) of - stable (2007-2010) of the development process, etc., to the situation of desertification in 2010 than in1990 although the state of a lot better, but the serious and severe desertification is stillcompared 2010 to 1990 19% of the land desertification development; in the past 20 years, changes in spatial distribution and development of land desertification, mainly in the east, north, reversing land desertification, mainly in the west and northwest; the impact of thedevelopment of land desertification factor analysis showed that most of desertification. Themain reason is the human factor, mainly rapid population growth and the resulting predatoryreclamation, overgrazing, over-mining and other predatory exploitation of firewood use andeconomic activity caused by the misconduct; this proposed researchLand desertificationprevention and control measures core: control population growth, natural resources andreduce pressure on the environment. |
