The engineering ceramic has small dilatability, good electricity performance, good resistant chemistry corrosiveness and so on, moreover it has low conductivity. It is widely used, such as metallurgy, machine chemical, electronics, biology, aviation and national defense, etc. It is the main method of grinding engineering ceramics by diamond wheel. Many scholars have done lots of studies on the high speed and high efficient grinding, but research on low speed grinding is very few. So is very useful and important practical significance in instructing actual production. In this paper, the grinding conditions can be ensured by analyzing the performance of high-alumina ceramic and SCFS through some experiment, testing theirs hardness and fracture toughness, analyzing theirs microstructure and substance structure as well. In consideration of its brittleness-ductility change, when the cutting depth of single grain more than the critical cutting depth of this three kind ceramic, the material is wiped off with brittleness to get high efficient grinding.Firstly, the grinding force, grinding energy and removal rate under low speed are surveyed with orthogonal experiments by MK-9025 Numerical Control Optics Curve Grinding Machine; the experimental results prove that the selection of lower grinding wheel speed, the high work piece moving speed and higher grinding depth to get high efficient grinding is reasonable by different grain wheel to these three kinds of ceramic.Secondly, the influence of grinding parameters is analyzed by a host of the single factor experiment of surface grinding.Lastly, some grinding force experiential formulas are established by means of the data of orthogonal experiment use the SAS software and the trend of the grinding force and the grinding energy are show by using MATLAB to prove the grinding experiment. This paper will surely enrich and wide the study in the field of efficient grinding, furthermore, it is to be an important sense of direction to the engineering practice, and give valuable evidence to the ceramic grinding system study in the future.
