In this paper, the influence of Cu content, returns and casting technology on properties of ZL205A alloy is researched on vertical pouring system.Because of a lot of chemical elements such as Ti, V, Zr and B added in ZL205A alloy, the crystal grains are refined.Through mechanical property tests at 23℃, 100℃, 150℃, and200℃. It is known that the tensile strength and the yield strength of ZL205A depressed with the temperature, expect the elongation. When the temperature is above 100℃, the tensile strength and the yield strength decline quickly. The yield strength is nearer to the tensile strength when the temperature is elevated.When add different content of returns, the property of ZL205A alloy will vary. With the returns increase, the tensile strength, the yield strength and the elongation first enlarge then will reduce.Also the property of alloy will be affected by alteration of casting temperature, wall thickness and cold iron. The pouring temperature has little influence with the property of alloy. But wall thickness effected property great-with board grow thick, the property of alloy fall down greatly. Iron chill made of Al has better chilling effect than Fe.
