The heating furnace is the important industrial equipment in the crude oil excavating and piping system. It makes use of natural gas to heat the flowing fluids in the pipes, such as crude oil and hot water, to the needed temperature. The main type of heating furnace in Daqing oilfield is fire-tube heating boiler whose furnace pipe has large length-diameter ratio. And the combustor of the heating furnace is atmospheric gas burner which has short flame and the heat release is concentrated. After long time operation, there's serious scaling on the outside Wall of the furnace pipe, the heat transfer performance of furnace become bad, it easily causes the burn damage of the furnace pipe, not only wasting a great deal of funds to used for maintaining, but also influencing normal production. The radiant tube combustor can avoid flame touch production directly and heat the production in high quality. So we can solve the problem of burn damage by the radiant tube which can avoid flame washing down the furnace pipe directly. Originated form the authorized item of Daqing Oilfield Company Limited:The damage mechanism and protection technique research of fire-tube heating boiler. We designed an injector radiant tube gas burner, and carried on experimental research on thermal performances of the new type combustor. The main content can be concluded from the paper as follows:(1) According to the operation status of existing heating furnace in Daqing oil field, and build the burner test-bed by modeling method.(2) Test thermal performance of new type burner. Under four different work Conditions, measure the heat flux density distribution of fire catridge and the temperature distribution of radiant tube,and comparison and analysis are made in terms of experiment results.(3) Finally, based on the experiment researches, heat transmission model of radiant rube is established in Monte Carlo method. According to the temperature of radiant tube wall, the heat flux density distribution of fire catridge can be calculated by the heat transmission model, and comparison on the theoretical calculation data and test result are made.
