Water injection and oil recovery in the same well combined well lifting system with cyclone separator. It's a new technology to improve economic benefit while the high water cut stage arrives. The hydrocyclone for oil water separation used two-phase flow density is the equipment that separates the dispersed from the continual phase. It is simple, no relative motion components, separated efficient, affordable, easy operation and maintenance. The article firstly simu1ated the internal flow field of hydrocycIone by using RSM model, basing on control volume method and applying PC-SIMPLE arithmetic. Distributing characteristic of velocity and pressure in internal flow field of hydrocyclone were gained by numerical computation. Have investigated that the changes of oil drop diameter, rate of flow and split ratio have an influence on separation efficiency. Considering oil characteristics of dispersed phase in flow field simulation, used of two mathematical models of turbulence in the flow of oil and processing of fragmented approach to study the influence of structure parameters of hdrocyclone on the separation, optimized the inlet, cylinder and overflow pipe. For checking up the result of numerical simulation, experiment study of separation character was completed about hydrocyclone. The hydrocyclone optimized essentially numbered the processing and oil removal capacity and the split ratio was reasonable. Finally, introduced the structure and working principle of ESP/ downhole oil-water cyclone separation system, imbedding the optimized cyclone, designed the system including the design limits of ESP and the selection of allied motor.
