Algae-lysing bacteria W5 was isolated and was proved to have strong algae-lysing effect. Experiments were carried out to study the algae-lysing effect of several components of the W5 culture. The results indicated that both the supernate and deposition have very strong lysing effect on Microcystis aeruginosa. We also found out that heating may help to enhance the algae-lysing effect of W5 culture. It was found that the algae—lysing active substance in Algae-lysing bacteria W5 should not be carbohydrate, protein and nucleic acid through experiments. The molecular weight of algae—lysing active substance should lower than 1KD through the dialysis experiment. CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) is a new international cooperation mechanism to developing countries. It is a new task and challenge for most developing countries to understand and make effective use of this new mechanism to service for their sustainable development. This article mainly illustrates the promotion and improvement impacts on national biomass utilization industry from CDM development. In this article, firstly, the categorization and biomass utilization technologies are explained, based on which development statuses of China and other developed countries are compared. Further it is concluded owing to dual barriers imposed by both biomass utilization capital and technology level limitations, big gap still exists between China and other developed countries. Thus, introduction of CDM to Chinese biomass utilization industry is necessary. In the chapter of CDM, CDM origination, relevant participants, and normal CDM development cycle are introduced. Then with analysis on Chinese CDM projects registration data on EB website, it is observed China takes a leading role in both project number and total emission reduction amount. However, most of the projects are wind and hydro power plants while biomass utilization projects with 12% in total numbers require more efforts. This article mainly illustrates two practical biomass CDM projects participated by the author—one is located in Henan province and another is located in Shannxi province. Both the projects indicating not only can advanced technologies be introduced by CDM, but also significant additional economic benefits be generated, which assists to solve problems of "low technology level" and "lack of capital" faced by biomass project developers. In conclusion, CDM provides such a good opportunity that China should grasp it to promote biomass utilization development.
