In the history of mankind, natural dyes for landscaping people's lives, and made indelible contributions. Although synthetic dyes for the textile industry development, but its dyeing process of the wastewater discharges difficult biodegradable, causing serious pollution to the environment, and some dye intermediates are toxic, carcinogenic. As human society increasing degree of modernization, people return to nature and health care raised increasingly strong, while non-toxic dyes and natural sound, a few non-polluting and unique. China has a long history of plant dyes. Current natural plant dye staining especially in the most civil, its products mainly ethnic minority costumes, tourism products, textiles and works of art.The curcuma,sapanwood and tannic acid were tested for dyeing cotton by orthogonal experiment with mordant and dyeing processes in this article ,and discussed the key factor influenced the process. At last selected the best dyeing process of deep color and tested the fastness of the dyeing sample .
