At present, persistent organic pollutants in Chinese water have been become a serious problem,but there is few test about POPs in Baotou section of the Yellow River, worse still,there is no report about the study of OCPs and PCBs.How to test POPs in the the Yellow River is a urgent task of protecting the water resources in Yellow River.This paper baseed on the National Natural Science Foundation project which studies on the migration and conversion rules of POPs in Inner Mongolia section of the Yellow River, studied on the OCPs and PCBs in Baotou section of the Yellow River, mainly optimizate the pre-treatment and analysis method, established a reliable pre-treatment and analysis method.Using this method ,it studied on the water quality of Baotou section of the Yellow River from three monitoring section in three different hydrological periods. Come to the following conclusions:1. On the pre-treatment process optimization: Water sample pre-treatment using solid phase extraction method Through experiments to determine the optimal experimental conditions is, 950ml water sample,5ml/min Injection, Sample finished with small flow of high-purity nitrogen dryer 12 min,10 ml of n-hexane eluted, then 15ml of the mixture of acetone and n-hexane leaching components to be measured.2. Uses the silica gel column chromatographic analysis carry on the purification to the sample, and 100 ml of n-hexane would be clean PCBs leaching to the internal standard Washing down, but the polar and adsorption ability are strong of organic pesticides, then need to use about 100 ml of volume ratio of 4:1 for the n-hexane and acetone elution organic chlorine component can be washed down.3. Obtains the best column temperature programming through the organic chlorine agricultural chemicals and the multi-chlorine biphenyl separation experiment. The initial temperature for 120℃, maintains 18min, elevates temperature by 5℃/ min to 180℃maintains 5min, elevates temperature by 10℃/ min to 230℃maintains 20min.4. In this paper, the GC-ECD method for three monitoring sites, that in the water quality containing OCPs forα- HCH,β-HCH , and PCBs for 2,3-two chlorine,2,2′4,4′-the tetrachloride. It can make up Yellow River to monitor the organic chlorine agricultural chemicals and the multi-chlorine biphenyl blank.
