With more and more thorough understandings of human beings that the function of ecosystem can not be substituted , especially under the background of deterioration of enviroment throughout the world , the analysis and evaluation of ecosystem service value and its dynamic process is a hot issue around the world and the frontiers' topic in ecology and ecological economics, as well as the urgent need for sustainable economic and social development, fuyishan Nature Reserve is the biosphere reserve and the world heritage site both in culture and nature. It is the ideal site for the study on biodiversity and nature conservation, which has significant effects on Fujian and Jiangxi province in soil conservation, air purification, headwater conservation, etc.This thesis launches the research under such background. Lots of international studies on ecosystem service have been developed, which mostly are based on the traditional benefit-cost analysis. However, the emergy analysis theories and methodologies are applied into in this paper, which overcome the shortcomings of existing methods and extend application fields of emergy analysis methods. The emergy theory was founded by H. T. Odum, an American ecologist. The emergy theory is based on the theories and methods of the System Ecology. By dealing with the energy-value-process of ecosystem, the theory provides us with a new approach to the ecological economy. The comparison research is also conducted in this paper.The paper conducts the research by combining qantity research with quality research. Firstly, this thesis gives a brief introduction to the development of the domestic and foreign research of ecosystem service and emergy analysis, then deeply elaborats the related basic theories and methods, which lays the stable theoretical foundation for the further research. Then, the paper builds a systematic graph of energy of Wuyishan Nature Reserve after analyzing its systematic features and analyzes the emergy basis. Finally, the value of main service functions for ecosystem is presented in the paper, which sums up to 89. 3×1019 sej of solar emergy and 2. 32 billion yuan for a year, including the value of the production of organics, raw and processed materials about 7. 19 hundreds of millions yuan, water conservation about 1.9 hundreds of millions yuan, CO2 absorption and O2 release about 1. 3 hundreds of millions yuan, the decrease of contamination about 3.13 hundreds of millions yuan, soil conservation about 9 hundreds of millions yuan, nutrients storage and cycling about 34 million yuan, scientific research about 42 million yuan, ecological tourism about 2 million and 3 hundred thousand yuan, that is 41219 yuan·hm-2·a-1。The value of soil conservation is 38.6% of the total value, which is the most and reveals the significance of soil conservation in Wuyishan ecosystem service. Furthermore, the remnant value of habitat is 182 billion yuan. The emergy investment ratio of fuyishan ecosystem is 0. 43, and the net emergy yield ratio is 8. 93.By using the methods provided by emergy theories, we got that the Wuyishan nature reserve ecosystem service is of great ecological and economic value. The results could provide scientific basis for the management decision and substainable utilization of ecosystem service value. So some advices of the management policies, adjustment of industry structures , legislation and publicizing are provided in this paper. Then some problems being found in the research indicate the direction of the future research.
