The spontaneous combustion accidents of sulfide ores is one of the major disasters in sulfide mine, often resulting in injury and equipment, facilities damage, which has seriously affected the normal production and mining. Therefore, to enhance the risk of spontaneous combustion of sulfide ores prediction method for the improvement of sulfide mine safety production situation has positive significance.Based on the analysis of sulfide ores biological oxidation mechanism, electrochemical mechanism, chemical thermodynamics mechanism and the physical mechanism, the paper proposes the mine oxygen compound mechanism, which systematicly analyzes the reasons of the spontaneous combustion of sulfide ores from the physical adsorption, chemical adsorption, chemical reactions, as well as poly thermal warming, for predicting risk of spontaneous combustion of sulfide ores. It can provide a basis for preventive work and forecasting of sulfide ores by researching affecting factors and characteristics of spontaneous combustion of sulfide ores drawing the analyzing figure of accidents and finding the basis events of affecting spontaneous combustion of sulfide ores. Applyling neural networks of highly nonlinear BP network, the factors affecting the spontaneous combustion of sulfide ores as input indicators BP neural network model is founded to predict the risk of spontaneous combustion of the sulfide ore. On the basis of predicting the risk of spontaneous combustion, the paper researchs the predicted technology and method and propose the corresponding preventive measures, and can be applied in engineering examples.
