The damage analysis of the ground buildings caused by underground mining is an important part of the study of mining damage. To solve the building damage refers to reinforce of in being buildings and the construct of the anti-deformation buildings. Developing the anti-deformation analysis and applied research of the buildings in mining area is one of the effective approaches to resolve the inconsistency between the underground mining and the protecting of the surface buildings. So the study on this subject has very important significance not only to rationally exploiting and fully using the underground coal resources, but also to carrying out the sustainable development of the coal mine.This paper, bases on consulting a large number of Chinese and foreign research, particularly discusses the relationship between the surface displacement and the building damage. According to the study on mining subsidence,soil mechanics and structure mechanics, then combines them with the experience of many project practices and takes a typical building as the project object to set up a relevant finite element numerical model on condition that master sufficient information about the construction and geological. Then calculate the model and gets the distributing circs of the stress and the strain, and also can achieve the damage rule about the building, further more put forward some relevant reinforce measures. It also provides a supplement to the deformation control method about the buildings in mining areas. At last relying on instructor's research on the safety mining under Mountain buildings in the small Baoding Coalmine of PanZhihua Mining Bureau to demonstrate the method, indicate that the result inosculates the condition of the building damage, at the same time put forward a suit of reinforce measures. It also provides a reference gist to the anti-deformation design and reinforce of the buildings in mining area.
