In this paper,the process simulation of MTBE synthesis was studied, and in order to understand the operation and dynamic characteristics of expanded bed reactor,the dynamic simulation of it was mainly investigated.In this paper,the model of various unit equipment and reactor involved in the process of MTBE synthesis was established.And a suitable model for approach was chose.Through topology analysis of the pipeline network,the pipeline network system will be structured and a dynamic model of pipeline network system was established.Finally,dynamic simulation software was developed;it used in the real-time simulation successfully and achieved good effect.Based on analysis of expanded bed reactor,a one-dimensional axial direction dispersion model of expanded bed reactor of MTBE synthesis was established in this paper.In order to speed up the computation and meet requirements of the dynamic simulation,appropriate numerical method based on reaction mechanism and reactor model was selected and spatial variable of partial differential equation model was discretized with appropriate numerical method.Moreover,the module of reactor was used to investigate the effect of raw material feed ratio on the conversion of isobutene and simulate axially temperature distribution law with time of the reactor.Simulation results showed that,this model can simulate axially temperature distribution law with time of the reactor.Accordingly,the conversion of isobutene can be forecasted at different methanol/isobutene molar ratio.The results of dynamic simulation and the actual production condition were more consistent,and the dynamic process of this model can be good at reflecting change trends of actual production.The results of the simulation software have approached the practical data,reflected the basic principles of MTBE synthesis and can be applied to the simulation of the technical process.The whole simulation process is good to reflect the running conditions of equipment and has better dynamic characteristics.The simulation results can be used not only for the operator training but also for the technology upgrade and control system study.The software has successfully applied for operator training in section of MTBE synthesis of a factory in Tianjin. |
