With the resources and environment issues becoming increasingly prominent in the world, protecting the environment, saving resources and achieving sustainable social development have got a global common concern. Implementing green manufacturing is one of the important means to achieve above objects, therefore green design as a key technology of manufacturing systems has become the focus both in the business community and in the academic community in recent years.Against this background,this thesis does some research on product green design methodology and its application, which integrates the theory of inventive problem solving(TRIZ) and quality function deployment(QFD). Reviewing the related research at home and abroad, the author thinks that the theory study on green design has been relatively extensive and in-depth, but work on methods and tools to achieve green design is still inadequate. Against these deficiencies, the green design method based on TRIZ and QFD is raised in this thesis. The main work and the core contents are as following points:(1) Analyzes the life cycle environmental requirements of green product, and confirms the ones that should be taken in consideration and can be controlled at the design stage through scope analysis. The related products characteristics are detailed analyzed, thus, forms the green quality module as the basis of products green design, which can be generally applied in similar product.(2) Integrates the technical tools of TRIZ and QFD, and constructs systemic green design process model and method system based on TRIZ and QFD.(3) Uses the green design method based on TRIZ and QFD in refrigerators design practice, and shows how to apply the method, at the same time verifies its effectiveness. Through theoretical analysis and applied research, it can be concluded: the green design method based on TRIZ and QFD has good operability, and can effectively aid design staff reasonably plan the traditional functional attributes and environmental ones of green products as a whole, thus, achieving green design; the research on green design method has an important theoretical and practical significance for exploring and perfecting the support system and implementation means of green manufacturing.This thesis is the follow-up work of the project "Research on the Integrated Management Model and Implementation Means of Green Manufacturing System (ID: 013615411)," which is funded by Tianjin Natural Science Foundation.
