Since 20th century, red tide in worldwide scale frequent eruption, has directly or indirectly influenced fishery,Binhai tourism as well as humanity's health, and has destroyed the sea ecosystem. The poisoning and death events caused by the algae-derived toxins are sometimes reported around the world,in which Paralytic shellfish poisoning and Diarrhetic shellfish poisoning are the most life-threatening toxins. The two toxins also were detected out in several seas of Guangdong coast, but these researchs of shellfish poisoning monitoring very little can achieve in the content in the sample quantity and time continuously gathering. Therefore, this research in during 2005-2006 year, has carded on 5 sample continuously gathering in Daya Bay,has gathered 61 samples.Firstly, thest samples are exminated by the AOAC bioassay method, then chooses several to carries by HPLC.The goal is to understand the patterns of the two toxins. The conclusions can be drawn as follows:1.Part one, distributing characteristic of PSP in Daya BayFirstly, the concentrations of PSP in Daya Bay were generally low and under the the public health safety standard(400 MU/100g).The results of examination from HPLC indicate 12 kind of PSP main toxin are discovered in this sea area.Secondly, the seasonal change of PSP was quite obvious, and the positive rate mainly presented in spring, and other seasons scarcely. To the HPLC,the results by oyster's four seasons toxic value,is in 2005 spring>2006 year spring; But in 2005: Summer>autumn>winter>spring.2.Part two, distributing characteristic of DSP in Daya BayFirstly,DSP in Daya Bay had a higher detection rate and larger detection values, which existed in close half samples.Secondly,Positive rate and the over-standard rate of samples changed in different seasons, but the two had some comparability in the aspact of seasonal change.Lastly, the positive and over-standard rate in samples species were 42.62%and 26.23%,relatively,and the highest toxicity was 0.8 MU/g, much higher than the public healthy safety standard(0.05 MU/g).Through this research, the results of the present study can be practicable for the development of marine aquaculture, the diet safety of shellfish and the esTablelishment of shellfish poisoning monitoring program, and provide scientific references for the policy of related management.
