Patinopecten yessoensis is the major coastal aquaculture bivalve molluscs in the northern China.Annual product income is more than 5 billion RMB.Paralytic shellfish poisoning(PSP) is a natural biological toxin which secreted by the toxic dinoflagellate, one of the most important shellfish toxin which can pose a serious threat to the food safety of seafood such as bivalve shellfish. For thoroughly exploring the law of annual changes of PSP from cultured ezo scallop.Using mouse bioassay(MBA) method and high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescent detector(HPLC-FLD) method to investigate in the composing component and the PSP content profile of Patinopecten yessoensis by floating raft cultured from North Yellow Sea of China. The findings with respect to making the rule of China's safety limit shellfish poisoning, implementing programs of monitoring shellfish culture area, protecting consumer safety, maintaining sustainable development of marine aquaculture economic, has a very important theoretical guidance and practical significance.MBA results showed that the annual changes in content of body Patinopecten yessoensis PSP were in the range of ND~2312.5Mu/100g,over standard rate is 29.2%,the average PSP content of exceeding samples is 1139 Mu/100g,this value exceeding security-warning limits nearly three times;HPLC-FLD results showed that the annual changes in the range of 26.20~833.96μgSTXeq/100g,over standard rate is 79.2%,the average PSP content of exceeding samples is 277.48μgSTXeq/100g,this value exceeding security-warning limits close to 3.5 times. It is spring that the Patinopecten yessoensis in China seriously polluted and autumn is the least. As the results showed that:The majority structure of PSP are the Carbamate toxins which have the strongest toxicity(82.15%of total content),GTX4 and neo-STX as the main component(accounting for 55.2%);followed by decarbamoyl toxins(accounting for 11.63%),and its basic component is dcGTX2(accounting for 10%); N-sulfocarbamoyl toxins concentration is great, but its toxicity is weak, accounting for a smaller proportion of the total content(6.22%). It is visceral mass of Patinopecten yessoensis that the PSP content is in the highest, followed by other organs:mantle, female gland=gill, male gland, adductor muscle; PSP components also have difference between different organs,it is found the least types components of the structure in adductor muscle, only GTX2-4 and C1-2;The most complex toxins were found in visceral mass, including GTX1-4,neo-STX,STX, dcGTX2,dcGTX3,C1-2 and GTX5.Compared with MBA,HPLD-FLD have the advantage of higher sensitivity. The results were analyzed by two methods were in high correlation after t test(P>0.05).
