More and more wastewater run into Urban rivers because of the Economic development and population growth. These rivers lost Their self-purification capacity and the eco-function. So the environment of the citis have been badly damaged. Look- ing for the effective methods to restore urban rivers has become a vital important objective in construction of the ecological city. This thesis focus on the study of urban rivers and aims at improving the water quality, supplying the ecological water and restore urban rivers. Firstly, it discourses on the development of river restoration technology and wastewater treatment. From the point of view of production and practicability and combining the practice of Yuxiu river restoration engineering, Jinan, this text brings forward the technology courses which use decentralized treatment technology to treat waste water and supply the rivers nearby.Contrastive studies show that decentralized treatment units have great effect on enhancing water quality and quantity of the river. Then, based on the indexes of chemical and physical of Yuxiu River combined with AGP experiments, we can inquire into the actual state of ecological and the rules of eutrophication. It can provide the scientific foundation for the 2nd stage ecological restoration project of this river. From the four aspects, direct treatment effect, treatment ability, treatment stability and impact load resistance, the thesis quantitatively analyzes the treating effect of normal contamination removal ( SS,BOD5,CODcr ) and Nitrogen and Phosphorus removal ( NH3-N,TN,TP ). A level evaluation model of sewage treatment process is proposed, and the level integrated evaluation is performing .The construction scale, investment and cost are synthetically analyzed in the basis of the data and documents afforded by the four sewage treatment units and correlative government departments. Compared the investment and treatment operation cost between the decentralized and centralized treatment plan , the results show that the decentralized treatment method is more efficient.
