According to the technical condition of photocatalytic reaction for wiping off arsenic contained in ethanol extraction of Panax notoginseng as a kind of Chinese traditional medicine,the design method of Photocatalytic Reactor was put forward and the form of its structure was argued; And the three-dimensional jet stirring appliance according to the characteristic of the material and the requirement of operation and structure and suited for the above process was developed. Its structure, function and selection of parameters were also analyzed. With the mechanism of stirring and mixing and correlative theory about jet study being cited and according to the requirement of operation, estimate method about Photocatalytic Reactor and steps of parameters optimization method of the jet stirring appliance were put forward.Depending on computational fluid dynamics analysis and reasonable simplification of the model and with k-εtwo-equation model being applied , fluid dynamics model being able to reflect single-phase jet stirring field of the Photocatalitic Reactor was set up . Simulation and computation was also carried out. Velocity variation of fluid point being able to reflect the turbulence of the whole flow field under different inlet velocity and total pressure drop were analyzed. Thus the reasonable inlet flux was determinedIn the case of invariable structural parameters of the Photocatalytic Reactor, three cases of different parameters of spray nozzles were simulated and analyzed. Characteristic of the flow activity was discussed. Main Factors influencing the distribution of flow field were determined. The relatively optimal numbers and parameters of nozzles and reasonable flux distribution were gained.On the base of the above optimal parameters of nozzles, structural parameters were adjusted in the paper. Through analysis of the state of flow field about three different distance between nozzles, the whole trend of the jetting field of different distance between nozzles and influence to the operation were gained. Thus, the relatively optimal distance between nozzles and structural parameters were adopted.Through the above simulation about flow field of the Thotocatalytic Reactor, the structure design and operating parameters were directly used for the development of the industry equipment, and through the evaluation of operation, it was proved successful.
