In this paper, learned from our predecessors on the deep soft rock tunnel ground pressure behaviors, rock stability control and theoretical research of supporting, according to the characteristics of 1000 m negative contact roadway in QiShan mining, the roadway was divided into sandstone rock group, mudstone rock group and coal rock group of three coal projects rock group. For the more depth of the new section of roadway, the more complex geological structure, the structure of broken rock and pressure behavior characteristics, it was studied and analyzed the roadway project rock group critical depth, difficulty of supporting factor, characteristics and mechanism of the initial support damage, and 1000 m negative contact roadway stability and reasonable mechanism of support programme, support parameters and construction technology. According to field observation, it was reasonable and effective to control surround rock deformation in the 1000 m negative contact roadway, and it was provided support control technology of deep soft rock tunnel rock.
