The article synthesized a type of new viscous crude emulsifier——non-ionic and anion Gemini surfactant through three steps, and studied their application in viscous oil recovery. Firstly refining ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether(EGDGE) made use of the method vacuum distillation to cut fractions, use EGDGE and nonylphenol as raw materials sythesized Gemini intermedium. Determine boiling point of EGDGE was 116~119℃/5mmHg and the structure of Gemini intermedium through IR and chromatograph-mass spectrometer. Considering the effects of Gemini intermedium yield at different conditions such as temperature, the catalyst, the amount to be used and so on, obtain the optimum reaction condition was 100℃, the catalysts were 0.25%KOH+0.25%C18H15P, reaction time was 3~5h, yield was 88.2%wt. Then synthesized six non-ionic Gemini surfactants of EO chain link and PO chain link group by alkylated reaction of Gemini intermedium. Measure the number of EO group and PO group by nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) spectrometry, the number of EO were 2.238,3.778,5.338 and the number of PO were 2.216,3.846,5.398 seperately. Then characterized their structure with infrared spectrometry. And then through sulphating reaction of non-ionic Gemini surfactants and neutralization, finally synthesized the new viscous crude emulsifiers——non-ionic and anion Gemini surfactants. After characterized their structure with infrared spectrometry, analyze the dissolve performance, surface tension, emulsification capacity and the interfacial tension with viscous crude. The result indicate that the type of viscous crude emulsifier had lower critical micelle concentration(CMC) compared to the tranditional surfactants, preferable brine tolerance, but their capacity of emulsify viscous oil need further study.
