Polyvinylpyrrodion(PVP) is a water soluble high molecular weight polymer. It has solubility,membranous form property and protective actions. PVP is widely used as medicine binding agents,cosmetic additives and food stuff additives.The method for producing Polyvinyl Pyrrolidon in the world is Reppe in which ethine is used as raw materials. The PVP is synthesized at high temperature(300℃) and high pressure(100atm). Besides,catalytic dehydration is a new way to produce PVP in our country. PVP is produced by the way of ethanolamine reaction,catalytic dehydration, initiation and polymerization, adoptingγ-butyrolactone and ethanolamine as raw materials in DongShengXingHua Chemical technology company in ShengLi oil field. It is the largest industrial equipment to produce NVP and PVP in Asia so far.This subject has researched the reconstruction of technics and equipment.With the development of science and technology, market competition is more and more drastic. It is imminent that we improve the product quality and reduced the cost of production. We finally discover the key point of reconstruction by summarizing the study of PVP production in many years and generalized analysis. This subject stress on the rectification of NVP, the reconstruction of the vacuum system and the E-102 amination heat interchanger. By the reconstruction,we achieve our anticipative goal and obtain good economic benefit.
