Heat exchanger equipment plays a vital role in the chemical process. It also acts relations with the normal plant operation and operational costs. Therefore, On the heat exchanger temperature field,stress field and displacement fteld,the analysis conclusion used in the production has realistic significance. Because the taper-chamber condenser boxes of this study is a non-standard pieces, it's reasonable structure and intensity are more concerned with by the design staff.First, the finite element model for thermal analysis is built by the software of ANSYS. In accordance with the temperature properties of the heat exchanger, the heat exchanger temperature distribution is taken for the stress analysis. A half model of heat exchanger is built by shell and link elements. The stress distributing of four instances is taken. The intensity evaluation of the heat exchanger is in favor of heat exchanger's design. Second, the connecting of the taper-chamber and tube sheet flange is simplified as two binding forms. The first one is a simple fixed-wide bound and the second one is the equivalent friction. According to two binding forms of taper-chamber comparative analysis, It is intended to highlight that this paper is reasonable by using radial spring as the friction. The results of this part analysis supply the nonstandard components with a boundary analysis method.
