Pumping units are the main method of mechanical oil production in oil field home and abroad. The expense of pumping unit energy consumption has become the most important factors on the cost of production. In the lift system of pumping unit, the dynamic performance of pumping unit is crucial in affecting system energy consumption. Therefore, to improve the dynamic performance is the key research of designing new type pumping units. In recent years, many new type pumping units have been developed by many the experts who study machine picking in domestic and foreign,which has poured into the new vigor for the oil field development.With the development of Daqing Oil Field encryption well and Fuyang reservoir, quantity of medium and low-production oil well is unceasingly increased. According to incomplete statistics, there are nearly ten thousand wells whose output is below the 10t/d. So the need of special lift technology that is to adapt to medium and low-production oil well is urgent. This paper carries on a special research on the base of extraction technology of medium and low-production oil well.The general design plan of miniaturization is established by refering to the information home and abroad and Daqing Oil Field the special conditions. The drive form of flexible pumping units in the paper is the combination of rigidity and flexibility (wire rope and driving belt), the load of suspension point can reduce by increasing the stroke with fix and mobile blocks and replacing the rigid sucker-rod with the flexible ones.In addition, this machine uses a gate structure in the structure. So the expandable crossbeam can make the horizontal pulling force of driving belt directly be transmitted to the fuselage, and the load of pumping unit's suspension point can be directly unloaded to the well head by the well head structure .Therefore, the flexible pumping units have the merits such as simple configuration, credibility, good dynamic performance and energy-saving, which are the main basement on the miniaturization and integration of pumping units.Kinematical analysis model of driving system is established, influence on flexible pumping unit movement capability which caused by stroke and stroke changes is analyzed; Dynamic analysis is carried out on drive system of flexible pumping units, with establishing the output axis torque curve, counter balance torque and brace output axis torque curve according to different load. According to the above, this paper designs the counter balance, selects the reducer, and carries out parameter optimization design on this plan. So, it provides design theory for the series of medium and miniaturization pumping unit using medium and low-production oil well's special lift technology.
