The PuI1-2 thick oil layer is the major reservoir of Lamadian oilfield. After long term water flood development, the flood pattern was damaged and the heterogeneity were serious both in vertical and horizontal, those leads to the invalid water flood circulation becomes more seriously among injection-production wells, and the water flood effect becomes worse, then the reserves wasn't produced in effective. Considering the oil reservoir characters of Lamadian oilfield, we chose the well which has seriously unbalanced injection profile to inject asphalt to regulate injection profile, just for achieve the oil layer's productive potentialities. After this, we can improve injection and production profiles, reduce interlayer and in-layer conflictions and ensure the constant rate.For a long time past, regulating injection profile for injection well has become an important measure for stabilized oil production and controlled water cut at home and abroad. This article will introduce it from the following aspects: regulating injection profile and the mechanism of regulating injection profile in deep zone, the applicable formation conditions, development and application of this technique in home and abroad, classification, construction method and key technique, etc.The article introduces the mechanism of regulating injection profile with asphalt grain, core testing indoors, the choice of grain diameter, the designed and optimized of injection plan, the development of injection equipments, and the optimization of injection equipments, and so on in detail. We analysis and discuss the feasibility of regulating injection profile with asphalt grain, and we make an example with four injection wells which developed experiment in place, formulate a series of actual problems which settled by regulate injection profile with asphalt grain. It also resolves two prominent problems in regulating deep injection profile: one is the expensive expense in massive usage, the other is affecting normal well's injection when we regulate injection profile.It is the first time to use asphalt grains regulate the injection profiles in our country. This reagent has certain fluidity and relative stability, and has better shut off capacity. We can block off different permeability layer by using different diameter grains. At the same time ,it has the following features, i.e. the reagent can not be effected by carrying fluid characters, cheap cost, and no equipment corrosion, so this reagent has wide applied future.
