Pipe pushing construction is another developing method of underground pipe construction following shied-driven technology. Pipe pushing construction can pass through highways, railways, rivers, buildings, and subterranean buildings and pipe lines, and become more and more popular in China, especially in developed coastal regions. In recent ten years, with the expansion of market scale and building density, pipe pushing has been adapted broadly in different engineering. But in applications, there are many problems such as limitation of geographical conditions and constructions technologies, so studies of applications of Pipe pushing constructions should be carried out systematically.In this paper, its history and status, sorts and traits are introduced simply. The key technologies, such as balance theory in construction, drag reduction by injecting and long distance pipe pushing, are emphasized. The south-west product oil pipeline being taken as an example, the problems and solutions in selection of technological procedure, technological parameters and constructing methods are discussed combining with practical construction projects. In addition, some suggestions have been provided to give advice to pipeline construction in mountainous area for the future. This dissertation based on the summary of existing theory, the behavior of jacking force of curved has been analyzed during construction. More reasonable method for jacking force has been raised. The theoretical computing formulae of curved pipe jacking have been deduced.
