Slickwater fracturing fluid is widely used in large-scale unconventional oil and gas reservoir fracturing because of its characteristics of low friction,small damage and low cost.As an indispensable and important additive in fracturing fluid,drag reducing agent can play a role in reducing turbulent energy loss and effectively enhance recovery efficiency.However,the current research on drag reduction performance of slickwater is mainly focused on loop tubes,and the research on drag reduction performance and its mechanism in fractures is rare.In order to further improve the research on the drag reduction performance of slickwater in fracture,this paper systematically researched an independently designed indoor visual fracture and loop pipe system to stimulate an actual process of slickwater being transported to the fracture through the loop pipe in field.According to the experimental data,the drag reduction characteristics of slickwater in fractures and loop pipes is studied and an empirical formula for calculating the friction coefficient suitable for fractures and loop pipe systems is fitted.In this study,the basic properties of drag reducer,the main additive of slickwater water,were tested first,and then the concentration of drag reducer,molecular weight of drag reducer,experimental temperature,displacement,shear time,fractures and tube size were studied indoors.The impact of multiple factors on the drag reduction performance of slickwater includes the disclosure of its micro drag reduction mechanism.And then the experimental data is combined to fit the drag reduction model of slickwater in fractures and tubes,and the theory applicable to the actual formula is calculated.Finally,the field data of Well Jinyue 102 is used to verify the practicability of the formula and analyze the reasons for the differences.Finally,in view of the current research of slickwater,the future expectation of slickwater is prospected.This paper can be used as a reference for indoor research on the drag reduction performance of slickwater in fractures and loop pipes.It can provide reference for further understanding of the drag reduction mechanism of slickwater in fractures and loop pipes,which is helpful to guide the field operation.
