The Rollers are an important part of rolling mil. The design of Rollers can be accomplished automatically with advanced CAD technology and abundant experiences from many experts by many years, therefore this method not only increase consumedly design work of efficiency, can also acquire good effect and high profits. This dissertation made a thorough research in the aspects of parametric design and FEM analysis of Rollers.This paper does research on the realization of digital system based on the exploitation of Pro/ENGINEER which is directed at HC Rollers. We create the Pro/TOOLKIT application by using the VC AppWizard and create the interface of application by using the function of Pro/TOOLKIT and the technology of MFC. It expatiates on the method of building the parametric model of HC rollers, then set up the 3-dimension model, which are the base of roller design. At the time of designing a new product, the system adjusts the model and then creates a new model controlled by the measures. On one hand from here born to the drawing, on the other hand complete the translation from 3-D model to the model applicable to FEM analysis.On the basis of theoretical research, the digital system of rollers is developed. It is composed of two modules: establish full-scale mock-up module, the rollers'CAE module. It could accomplish the 3-D design of rollers, then generate the model and turn it to FEM model. This paper also gives an example of the application of this system.
