The linear motion guide is a precision function part, which has fine movement precision,low abrasion,a long service life, high speed ,no creep, activated without tremor, lubrication convenient , high rigidity , high admissible load, good economic performance and other characters . Widely used in CNC machine, medical machinery,semiconductor manufacturing equipment,aerospace,automotive,rail transport,and various detection machinery,etc.but the gap of the same products at home and abroad in terms of quality,accuracy and life,etc are so large, and the structure always refer to foreign products. So it is necessary to research the LMG, so that can improve the performance.The main content of this thesis is the theory research of the LMG's static rigidity of mathematical model;the study of structure;the analysis of ball movement,the analysis of the influence of rigidity; the computer simulation;to induce the law. The paper can be specifically divided into the following three aspects:Firstly,in theory, the paper had studied of the existing static rigidity mathematical models and structure of the LMG; maked use of the Hertz theory , studied what influence the rigidity;and according to the study of ball movement of the bearing on the carrying zone,studied the ball movement of the LMG,and derived the formula of its speed and ratio of spin and roll。Secondly, on the basis of the deeply understanding of LMG, utilized the finite element method of elasticity,used professional nonlinear finite element software-ABAQUS,buided the physical models of the influence of different structural and load characteristics to the rigidity of the LMG.and analyzed the calculation results, but also compared it with the results of the theoretical model.Thirdly, Through the finite element simulation results, respectively,to identify the curve of the influence of different structural characteristics and load characteristics to the rigidity, such as the curve of the influence of the curvature ,contact angle and preloading. and then summed up the law by these curves.
