Mine ventilation system is the prerequisite of effective mine ventilation, and its reliability is the guarantee of ventilation safety, elimination of potential accidents, prevention of gas and fire incidents and improvement of the mine ability to resist and prevent the mining disasters. The analysis and evaluation on reliability of mine ventilation system is the basis of measure constitution for resisting and preventing mining disasters. Therefore, the mine ventilation system reliability analysis is especially important to production safety and sustainable development of coal industry.With an objective analysis on contribution and shortcoming of previous work by other researchers, the paper confirms the natural factors and ventilation safety management by the analysis model, such as ventilation network, ventilation power, ventilation facilities, and in-depth analyzes all the relevant factors. According to the factors and the characteristic of mine ventilation, it built up the actual reliability evaluation index system. It made certain mine ventilation system reliability to the objectivetier (A) , the rule tier (B) including four aspects: ventilation system environment, ventilation equipment and facilities, ability of preventing and resisting disaster and the ventilation safety management, and the indicator tier (C) that were further subdivided into 24 indicators.For conforming the fact with weight distribution and evaluating results in the index system, AHP and fuzzy math were taken into the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The method of "reliability level eigenvector" was applied to dispose the results of evaluation. Combined with AHP, the theory of mine ventilation system reliability and computer technology,"The program of mine ventilation system reliability evaluation"was compiled by using Visual Basic 6.0.The study was applied to Zhaoge Village Coal Mine of Kailuan Group, to prove its validity. The study will bring an active effect on scientific management of the mine, ventilation management, and comprehensive improving the ability to resist and prevent mining disasters.
