Molecular recognition,the process of that host molecule form binding with guest molecule selectively and product some special function,is one of the most important fields of the study on supramolecular chemistry. Molecular recognitions is not only information handling base for molecular-packages but also necessary pass for packing top-grade structure. calix pyrrole was a novel supramolecular host synthesized from acidic condition of pyrrole with ketone,it has an exceptional capacity to encapsulate other molecules or ions within its cavity,as a new receptor in supramolecular chemistry,it demonstrates higher specificity in molecular recognition,better selectivity and to be easily synthesized than most recognized hosts such as crown ethers,cyclodextrins and cailxarenes.Neutral molecular recognition,especially for neutral micromolecular, such as lower alcohol,simple amid- molecular,is one of the difficult questions in the study of supramolecular chemistry.Neutral micromolecular is difficult to form the strong non-covalent bond interaction with receptor molecular because of few locus of forming hydrogen-bonded action and lack of contact surface of forming hydrophobic action andπ-πstacking action.Fortunately,calix pyrrole molecular have preferable recognition action to neutral micromolecular,and could achieve the separation of neutral molecular mixtures from application.So,studies on the calix pyrrole have gradually shown its potencial value and applicable prospect.In this thesis,The major synthetic compounds are as follows: tetramethyl-tetraphenylcalix[4]pyrrole,Tetramethyl-tetra-(2-thiophene) calix[4]pyrrole,tetraethyl-tetra(2-thiophene)calix[4]pyrrole,tetra(4-hydrox ylphenyl)porphyrin,tetra(3-hydroxylphenyl) porphyrin,whose structures are characterized by element analysis and NMR.The thesis focuses on the corresponding calix[4]pyrrole,studies the inclusion action of partial calix[4pyrrole compounds and neutral molecular(alcohol,acid,methyl formate,ethyl formate),and prepares solid inclusion compounds,whose structures are characterized by element analysis,X-ray crystal analysis and NMR.
