Register system is an important guarantee of realizing high speed, high precision, high stability in printing. And it is a requisite constituent of the top grade printing press. At present, the domestic mainstream register system is mostly applied to medium lower grade printing press and only can ensure inferior grade of speed, precision, stability and automaticity. Therefore, it is necessary to study the register system for the top grade printing press.Based on deep analyzing fundamental composition and operating principle of color register system for printing press, and combined characteristic of register system at home and abroad, presents design proposal of real-time monitor system for register system based on multitask real-time operating systemμC/OS-Ⅱ, to advance real time and stability of monitor system, thereby improve performance of wholly register system, in turn fulfil demands of the top grade printing press to register system.Monitor system is mostly composed of host computer (IPC, Industrial Personal Computer) and client computer (SCM, Single Chip Microcomputer). With the RS-485 network for correspondence media, a distributed control system is rounded. Monitor system has realized that host computer can monitor most twelve group printing units corresponding client computer real time.This thesis perfectly discusses the implementation procedure of monitor system, includeing the hardware lectotype for both IPC and SCM, software design of them, the design of communication interface and communication protocol between them. The thesis attaches most importance to the design of host computer. After finishing hardware design, the thesis analyses software structure of host computert in detail, makes a proposal of portingμC/OS-Ⅱat DOS platform to realize real-time multitask schedule, and optimizes monitor software structure of host computer (Divide Task, Assigning Task Priorities, Intertask Communication And Synchronization) according to real-time multitask application software design principle, following presents specific software structure and codes of main function, then portsμC/OS-Ⅱand tests it, finally finishes design of subtasks.In the end, the thesis tests the practical operating status of monitor system and introduces the operation instruction in brief. According to tests, monitor system designed by the thesis is able to advance speed, precision stability and automaticity of the whole system.
