Study On Integration Of The Die &Mould Production Management System And Related Application Systems

Most of the die & mould companies are small and not mass production in our country. The management and technology in the companies are too dropped behind to compete in the market. So the die & mould companies begin to use INTERNET, ERP to fix up operation flow, process of technology and management by IT to make the companies information-based entirely, and to improve the management and efficiency of the production at last.In this paper, aimming at the integration of die&mould production management system and some other related sytems, we study to integrate all information and system of die & mould companies into a whole information-based process. We analyze the common operation flow and the viewpoint of manufacturing enterprise. Emphatically, we analyze which systems are related to the die&mould production management systemand give the data format of these systems.Based on the study above,the author implements the integration of eMan, a die & mould production management system, and material system of THE DIE MANUFACTURING CO.LTD OF FAW, by establishing mid-database on the third server. The author also implements the integration of eMan and PDM of THE DIE MANUFACTURING CO.LTD OF FAW, by establishing the transition between the local data type and the whole data type. The author implements the integration of eMan and OA system of THE SHANGHAI BYD CO.LTD at last by using program developement. Now integration between these systems has been successfully applied in the companys.
