Environmental Impacts Assessment Of Urban Road Traffic

In recent years, the construction of the urban road transportation is developping rapidly. To a certain extent, the development has adapted the demand of the society, economy and public .However, at the same time , the City road traffic on the impact of the urban environment is also increasing gradually, and which even has leaded to a number of environment problems and makes people pay a widespread attention to it.This paper has analyzed our country's urban road transportation's present development situation, characteristic and the factor which affects the urban sustainable development, and has conducted a research to the urban road transportation and urban environment's reciprocity and the mutual influence. It takes the sound, the atmospheric environment, the land's utilization and the afforestation as four objects which has influence to the urban environment, and has established the environmental effect appraisal mathematical model according to the road traffic environment effect appraisal's principle and the characters. The paper proposes that only when the urban road traffic and the urban environment organic coordinated, the urban environment can enable have the effective improvement, and the urban construction and economical can be promoted prosperously.In the empirical analysis, in view of the WuHan road traffic's development characters, and after the full consultation to the concerned experts , the paper has establishes a set of evaluation indicators which is used to evaluate the influence of the WuHan road traffic to the city environment .In the detailed analysis , the paper has used the air quality annual report data of 7 main districts in WuHan in 2006, and has adopted the Grey Reati-onal Analysis to make a research of the WuHan air quality condition. The result of the research indicates that most important pollutant to the WuHan air condition is PM10. Then the paper has carried on a Comprehensive Evaluation to 7 main districts in WuHan about environmental impacts of urban road traffic by using the AHP method, and has expanded some analysis to the result. Finally unifying the development trend of WuHan urban road and the urban environment, refering to the views of WuHan public. It has discussed how to integrate the sense of maintaining, improving and developing the city environment into the moment when the city carries on the urban road transportation's programming, the designment, and the operation ,in order to achieve WuHan city road traffic sustainable development.In this paper, the environmental impacts assessment of urban road traffic based on the sustainable development of green urban transportation. In the research , it has some innovations about the comprehensive environmental impact assessment in some areas, such as land, green areas such as a and innovation. Whatever, because of the short of information and qualifications, there are some shortcomings in the process of the study inevitably, such as the natural landscape, social and cultural aspects of environment impact assessment , which needs to improve unceasingly in the later research.
