With the rapid development of urbanization,the functions of town road are also changing to urban roads,which makes town roads not only bear the pressure of domestic traffic,but also bear the pressure of external traffic.In the process of the transformation of functions of town roads,the increasingly complex traffic composition and the rapidly increasing traffic volume make the traffic safety problem of town roads become more and more prominent,especially the traffic safety problem of town roads under adverse weather conditions.Therefore,it is very important to study the traffic safety problem of town roads under adverse weather conditions.Based on the current situation of town road safety in China,this paper analyzes the characteristics and causes of town road safety accidents from a scientific and systematic perspective.This paper analyzes the influence of the factors of drivers,vehicles and roads on the traffic safety of town roads under adverse weather conditions.Through the analysis of bad weather characteristics and weather classification,this paper studies the influence of bad weather conditions on the traffic safety of town roads,that is,the influence of rain,snow and fog on the driving safety of town roads.According to the principle of establishing the evaluation index system of town road traffic safety under adverse climate conditions,the evaluation indexes are selected.Based on the evaluation indexes,the evaluation index system of town road traffic safety under adverse climate conditions is established.According to the fuzziness characteristics of influencing factors of town road traffic safety under adverse climate conditions,the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is selected as the research method of this paper.On this basis,the index weight is determined by analytic hierarchy process and the evaluation model of town road traffic safety under adverse climate conditions is established.Fuzzy evaluation results are still ambiguous,so the evaluation results are de-fuzzified and weighted average method is used to calculate the final results.Finally,a case study of Xingkou Town’s road safety under adverse climate conditions is carried out by using the established fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model,and the overall situation of the town’s road safety under adverse climate conditions is obtained.Based on the evaluation results,the corresponding improvement suggestions and measures are put forward.
