Modern metallurgy furnace develops in the direction of increasingly large, ultra-high-powerfully .the key hydraulic control institutions such as the working electrode take-off and landing stability and reliability, speed and control precision of metallurgical furnace is important for high-performance production and production technology .The research of large-scale study of electric hydraulic system, important organ of the hydraulic system design ,speed of response and acceleration, that is, hydraulic quick action, sensitivity and brake speed has great practical significance and practical application. China National Erzhong Group introduces into Italy's DANIELI Company's latest 80t electric furnace. It is found the respond speed of electrode take-off and landing system is slow .In addition it works insecurity so electrode-touch-off often occurers, resulting in production stop. In this paper combined with work situation of 80t furnace, the electrode regulation characteristics of the circuit are analyzed, and electrode regulation of hydraulic system is simulated. The main thesis completed and the main contents are the following:①Combined with practical experience in engineering, we put forward design requirements of the electrode, and establish mathematical model of three-phase electrode control systems and the interaction between the electrodes are also analyzed. In addition we theoretical analyze target-magnification-factor of controller, interaction between arc-non-sensitive areas and equipment permanents and conditions of arc stability. Analysis show that non-sensitive areas has nothing to do with voltage drop and is proportion to non-sensitive areas and work with reduction of furnace working current .It is inversely proportional to the arc gradientβ.②control strategy and control methods electrodes are studied to improve the traditional PID control. The improved PID control has characteristics of robustness, dynamic response, fast rise time, small overshoot. Working principle of hydraulic electrode controlling system is analyzed and establishes a hydraulic controlling model. Strengths and weakness of the PLC ,DCS and FCS control systems are analyzed .The difference between different electrode-conditioning control strategies: constant resistance, constant current, constant power are compared.PLC and constant resistance are used as the electrode control system and control measurement road.③Having designed the electrode regulation system, and inferred various links mathematical mode in details, and we obtain the battery solution proportioning valve to control the cylinder position system total mathematical model and to draw this system's transfer function block diagram, led the concrete data to carry on the analysis with the software to the system, the result indicating that system's dynamic performance which the analysis obtained has been good, could satisfy the request which the electric stove electrode rose and fell.The conclusions of the research papers has important guiding role on the electrode-conditioning system .Its practical application can reduce the damage to the electrode and energy consumption.
