Blast furnace belongs to pressure vessel, because the word economy is developing vigorously, the design of blast furnace is developing in the direction of bigger cubage and longer life-span, which, in the mean time, bring forward the new test to the design of blast furnace structure. Thereinto, the heat dissipation of blast furnace become a problem which is focused by people, and as a heat dissipation part, enough holes have to be punched on the stack, which can reduce the facial temperature of the blast furnace shell effectively.Because the calculation of computer will cost enormous time with all the cooling holes punched in the stack of blast furnace in the finite element analysis of ansys, most of the research about blast furnace didn't have enormous cooling holes punched. So based on the issue, this thesis uses periodical symmetry structure to analyze the opening holes of the stack relatively thoroughly.Set a example of 4800m3 blast furnace, this paper put forward some influence rules which are caused by opening holes numbers'change, through the analysis of 5 different opening models (30,40,50,60,75, holes in single circle single row), including stress distributing and displacement change under circumstance of different opening holes, did some preliminary study on stack stiffness reduction under the elastic phase which is caused by opening ratio, and gave some stiffness reduction regression formula which will provide reference for the research and design on blast furnace.Summarizing what I have done in this thesis, bringing forward some shortage of this paper and some unsolved problem.
