Almost all kinds of down hole operation could be done by using coiled-tubing(CT). Nowadays, within the field of oil-gas well operation, the CT technology of down hole operation has been used widely. By means of advanced technology, performant progress, and performant equipments and tools, the CT technology of down hole operation is become a kind of cheap, efficient, safe and dependable operative technology. It is the ideal choice for many oil-gas well operation.The CT operation technique is a operative technique with full of vigor. Its development is already obvious. Especially in the field of well workover operation, the development of CT well workover technology has been represented the new direction in the world.Assorted tools play a more and more important part in CT operation device. It will improve the eficiency, cost and of exploration and exploitation,studying,developing and using CT technology. According to this situation, Hydraulic Rotary-Percussive Presser(HRPP), a practical assorted tool for CT down hole operation is introduced in this paper. It is not only can overcome the limit of mechanical behaviour, torque, life in CT operaation, but also can improve the eficiency. The operation will be convenience and safe by using HRPP. This paper covers the following contents.At firsy, the theories of fluid mechanics and other subjects are applied to research the design principle of HRPP. The computer virtual design and testing are also used to verify the design principle. According to the design request, working principle, down hole tools of petroleum and theory of machine design, the required construction of HRPP is designed. Then, the solid drawing and schedule drawing of HRPP are being modeled in solidworks software. The simulation of HRPP includes motion analyze, mechanical analyze and animation in solidworks plug. Last, compared with the result of virtual design, testing and calculation, the design method of HRPP shows that the whole design (includes testing and simulation) is feasible and credible, and has instructive value in the future practical design and manufacture.
