Off-line methods were widely used in the processing of tube billets central hole inseamless steel pipe industry, which causes serious problems such as low workefficiency and harsh work intensity. Based on arc machining technique, this paperdedicated to develop a novel automatic arc tube billets central hole processing device.This paper aiming at meeting the need of practical production process, explicatedelaborately the development of the central hole processing device. This device appliesmechanical design technology, arc machining technique, and automation controltechnique, has the merits of high utilization ratio, high positioning precision, quickresponse speed, etc. The specific content of the thesis is presented as follow:In chapter one the significance of the full-automatic arc tube billets central holeprocessing device was introduced, the research status and development of central holeprocessing at home and abroad was presented. Then key technologies of the devicewere discussed in detail.In chapter two the system structure of the full-automatic arc tube billets central holeprocessing device was given, and the process flow, system configuration, workingprinciple, etc was described in detail.In chapter three technological requirements of the central hole processing were givenfirst. Then the eccentric mechanism model in consideration of manufacturing errorwas developed applying SolidWorks after the preliminary design and theoreticalcalculation.In chapter four the load bearing capacity of the crankshaft in the eccentric rotormechanism was analyzed, and the finite element analyzing by using CosmosWorkssoftware was demonstrated, which was of value for the design.In chapter five the requirement of the control system was demonstrated, the designconcept and function of PLC program, monitoring program and PLC communicationprogram was described in detail.In chapter six the existing work of arc tube billets central hole processing device wassummarized and the future work was expected...
