As a result of rapid economic development, rapid population growth, and the plunder of resources of development, Resource-based cities have driven the surrounding to be areas with fragile ecosystem problems, serious environmental damage and sharp resource conflicts. The significance of landscape ecology Analysis is to explain the relationship between human activities and landscape ecologies.Anshan City is an important heavy industrial base, and a typical of China's resource-based mining city. From a macro scale, with the combination of the landscape ecology theory and the development of the actual Anshan Mining situation, according to the application of landscape pattern analysis, remote sensing technology and geographic information systems, through three periods of landscape pattern remote sensing surveys in the region, this paper will analysis the rules of Anshan mining landscape pattern dynamic evolution and landscape ecological problems, which is of great theoretical and practical significance to Anshan area of landscape pattern planning, development and utilization of mineral resources and socio-economic sustainable development. Get the following conclusions:The total area of mining patch was 4209.21 ha in 1992,which was 4896.67 ha in 1999 with a net increase of 687.46 ha;but the number in 2008 was 5684.28 ha, which got a growth of 787.62 ha than 1999; Mining in Anshan mainly large-scale mining dominated, and the changes between patch area the decrease year by year. The number of less than 8% of the patch landscape elements accounted for 85% of the total area; and the number of nearly 80% of patch area landscape elements only accounted for about 10% of the total area; the middle section accounted for less neither the number or their sizes. Therefore, the study of landscape ecological restoration and reconstruction should be aimed at the larger and smaller patch. The shape of mining patch is relatively simple and becomes more and more compact and complicated with the increase in patch area; furthermore, Analysis of patch distance and patch density show that: Over time, the intensity of mining patch has increased year by year. The landscape diversity is increasing year by year; landscape dominance is increasing overall; the role of mining landscape elements is also increasing, but its increase in the 1992-1999 was significantly higher than the increase in the period 1999-2008; the landscape fragmentation is increasing, but the increase tends to slow down. The results show that: through analysis and research of the dynamic evolution of landscape pattern of mining in the region, we can reveal the spatial characteristics and the evolution rules of landscape urban in Anshan, which is of great significance to urban development, mineral resources development, governance and the restoration of the ecological environment.
