Double-face CNC Floor-type Milling&Boring Machine is a new type of special machine for lage workpiece now. It can achive multi-processes under workpieces being set up one time, not only can improve production efficiency to 3-4 times, but also the workpieces can get high machining precision and high surface smoothness. The Double-face CNC Floor-type Milling&Boring Machine with A-axis rotating is very suit forbig and long size workpieces which with multi-holes precise machining, especially suit for inclined plane and holes machining.Now construction machinery,space flight, aviation, national defence and war industry also need this type of special machine.The Double-face CNC Floor-type Milling&Boring Machine is a kind of special machine which developed for some war industry. The machine tool has some characters such as:1) The machine tool was lay out of double-face, the two spindles can be operated and machining at the same time. Further more it can be operated independence.And the machine tool can get high machining efficiency.2) The movement along X-axis of main part was drived by double motor, and the transmission was realized by gear and rack which can improve transmission precision in the condition of long travel and heavy-load.3) The machine bed was adopted of multisection casting and connected by blots, using keys to located, which can improve the whole rigidity of the machine.4) The A-axis rotary structure was applied in this machine, can make the machine realize to machining inclined with holes without installing universal milling head, which can achieve high prcession and high rigidity, and at the same time it not only can make the progress easier but also reduce the working capacity, and also improving the worked efficiency.5) We used hydraulic ram to banlancing the headstock, this way can reach many kinds of balance of headstock moving.The desigining of the whole machine tool was explained in this essay, and through many ways such as finite element analizing, experiment study ect.to be in progress comprehensive and careful analysis and theory study, thus it can reach reasonable structure.The complicated strained condition of column was analysed by finite element. The strained condition study of the column was analysed by empirical formula on the condition of no affect the normal analysis and working. For there are many parts of the whole machine tool which have complicated strained condition, such as the brace and the saddle, it has not much time and energy to analyse all the parts.Every experiment was introduced in this essay after the machine tool was installed, and also gained a series of experimental data of the mechanical performance and the parameter of the machine tool, and using particular analysis to draw some conclusion.The machine tool was passed final check of our customer, and was fine used by the user. The successful development plugs a gap of the CNC floor-type milling&boring machine in China. And this type of machine promotes the development of the equipment in our country, strengthens the competitiveness with the same industry of foreign country, and it also has wide market prospects.
