The results of polymer flooding depend on injection system quality and polymer viscosity achieving the requirement of injection project design. Industrialized polymer flooding in XingBei Oilfield shows injection quality is influenced by some factors, which results in injection viscosity fluctuate, and affects development effect. For questions showed above, research on polymer flooding injection quality control systems engineering methods are carried out , it also provide technology guarantee for polymer flooding development.1. Analysis on effect factors in injecting system and adjustmentAccording to on-site technological process of injection system, possible factors that maybe influence polymer viscosity are analyzed from polymer preparation to injection system. Results show that polymer solution injecting viscosity is affected by polymer quality, injected water quality, polymer mother liquor aging time, produced water aerated oxidation effect, polymer solution commixture effect, instantaneous match control accuracy, chemical agent and shear degradation etc. Based on indoor experiments and field tests, adjustment methods are proposed, such as adding distributed static mixer mechanism to improve commixture effect and reducing polymer solution concentration to improve instantaneous match control accuracy, etc.2. Research on polymer flooding injection quality control systems engineering methodsInjecting system quality management is a system engineering that involving many departments and careers. To enhance polymer injecting quality management and make sure injecting viscosity meeting the requirement of design, research on polymer flooding injection quality control systems engineering methods are carried out based on injecting viscosity affecting factors analyzing. The buildup of intensive management model improves the coordination of different careers and departments, and improves polymer injecting system management. 2.1 The management in polymer injecting systemPolymer flooding injecting viscosity management processes are established, viscosity fluctuation in every polymer flooding blocks is controlled timely. And then rapid reaction mechanism for worse polymer injecting system is set up, which can help to determine the factors that influence the viscosity of injecting system and enhance the management level of polymer injecting scientifically.2.2 Investigation in polymer injecting systemPolymer injection quality investigation technology with multi-nodes analysis and factors itemized investigation is researched for the purpose of promptness, convenience and effectiveness. It has advantages of clear investigation pertinence, investigation data comparability and investigation result accurate.2.3 Adjustment in polymer injecting systemFor the factors affecting injecting viscosity, adjustment in polymer injecting system is researched and concluded, which lays the foundation for the theory and practice for enhancing the injecting viscosity in industrialized polymer flooding blocks. The application availability of adjustment in polymer injecting system is 100%.This technology was put into application in XingBei Oilfield in Nov. 2006, and polymer injecting viscosity reaches 35.0mPa.s in all blocks. The first polymer flooding block which uses clean water in both preparation and dilution periods got stage recovery rate of 14.93%, forecasting ultimate recovery high up to 16.0%, and reserve recovery degree of Pâ… 1~3(main producing layer) reaching 61.8%. This technology created substantial economic and social benefits for XingBei Oilfield.
