Metallic Card Clothing (MCC) is the key carding element of carding machine in textile industry. During the manufacture process of MCC, online punching model is used to make sure no difference exits in the kilometer long MCC. So the MCC punching machine must act two high-precise movements at the same time: one movement is rotary cutting (main drive shaft), the other is traction (driven traction shaft).The two movements must be strictly synchronized to make sure that the profile consistent.The purpose of this project is to study the open AC servo control system based on SERCOS bus, which is used in the MCC servo-punching. Through the study the principle and design method of AC servo control system, fieldbus technology and the servo-punching technology, this paper discusses the control method of the open AC servo control system based on SERCOS bus, and does a deeper level research on the precise position control and speed control of servo motor.Firstly, through the overall analysis of the servo-punching, this paper determines the industrial computer (IPC) for the control system platform, adopted two permanent magnet synchronous motors to drive punching cutterhead and traction roller. Two motors coupled with IPC by SERCOS bus;Secondly, the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) mathematical modeling was made, to determine the servo system control method. The digital servo system is simulated in MATALAB/Sinulink, through a large number of simulations and the actual data of production, the control scheme is optimized.Finally, IPC, servo systems, smart cards and other communications components constitute the CNC servo system hardware together. The system's control structure uses position and velocity double closed-loop control mode, in which intelligent control is studied.The issue of the core software control is the MFC programming using Visual C + +, for control algorithm is carried out all in IPC software. As a manager in the operation process of NC, IPC translates the production parameters into the position orders which were converted to the servo motor control signal by fuzzy PID controller. The SERCOS bus transmits the orders to the servo drives by broadcasts networks. Servo drive system so that to achieve the creation of the position and velocity control and achieve the precise servo control performance.From the simulation and experimental results, fuzzy PID controller has a good adaptability and robustness. Compared to the traditional PID control system, the PID parameters in the control system optimize automatically. This open system is applied in MCC gear servo control system, and has a satisfactory control effect.
