As the rapid development of science and technology, the new plastic techniquesof injection molding keep a rapid development. Water Assisted Injection Molding(short for WAIM) is one kind of it. Different from the traditional mold molding,WAEM posses the advantages of decrease in the residual internal stress, the surfaceshrinkage of the products and resin usage.In this dissertation, a water hydraulic system for WAIM with the manual and automatic functions integration is researched. This system is based on the water hydraulic technique, and kernelled with PLC control with a touch panel as assistant control. A good man-machine interactive bench is provided and the control to the injection water is realized in this system. What's more, the process parameters can be set to meet needs of the system. The main contents of this paper are as follows:In Chapter 1, through the comparison of the merits and demerits between WAIM and GAIM, the research and developmentt necessaries to the WAIM equipment is expounded at first, then state of the art and difficulties about this kind of equipment is introduced, and finally the feasibility of water hydraulic application on WAIM is analyzed.In Chapter 2, firsty based on the analysis on the control requests, the principle of water hydraulic system for WAIM is illustrated and then the main technical parameters are decided, and then the characters of the system is simulated with the software of AMESim. Finally the the virtual three-dimensional model of this system is designed with the Solidworks software.In Chapter 3, on the first hand, the overall structure of booster cylinder is determined based on the working process of WAIM, then the basic parameters, material selection of this cylinder is designed fistly, and then strength check of its key parts is carried out; on the other hand, the general structure of water acupuncture is decided from the aspects of the function and the WAIM requests firstly, and then its spring is calculated, finally strength check of its key parts is analyzed by means of finite element method.In Chapter 4, the whole framework of control system is proposed at firstly, then the circuit diagram of PLC control system is designed from the functions of injection circulation, proportional pressure control and temperature automatical control, and then the main control program is designed based on the WAIM process, finally the processing method to the analog signals and implementation approach to the temperature control algorithm are lucubrated.In Chapter 5, aimed at the control requests, the man-machine interface of the control system is developed including main, parameters configuration, trend graphs and alarming interface, and the functions of real-time monitoring, parameters configuration are then realized.In Chapter 6, some conclusions of the work are draw and the further work are brought forward.
