As NC machine tool is developed in the high-speed,high- accuracy direction, the linear rolling guide is applied more and more popularly, because of it's excellent performance. To this day, it has became a so important function component of the advanced NC machine tool that dynamic characteristics of it's movable joint influence the machine tool's dynamic characteristics greatly. So research of the movable joint's dynamic characteristics is crucial to the structure of machine tool's dynamic design and optimization.Recently, the most popular dynamic model is composed of some springs and dampers. But, when dynamic characteristics of linear rolling guide's movable joint is described by this model, it can't work well because of intrinsic limitation. Thus, a new dynamic model—movable joint multi-node dynamic model is founded, by which the movable joint is dealt as an independent finite element. By the method of piecewise linearizing the relation curve of the element's nodal force and nodal displacement, the problem induced by joint's nonlinear characteristics is solved commendably. Therefore, the joint's dynamic characteristics can be reflected better and more truly by the new model.Parameters calibration of the multi-node dynamic model is studied in this Dissertation. Taking an HJG-D type linear rolling guide produced by Hanjiang Machine Tool Factory as study object, the model's parameters are calibrated by experiment, which will be applied to dynamic modeling of this type linear rolling guide.Multi-node dynamic model is validated by the method that combines finite-element simulation with modal experiment. Multi-node dynamic model and spring model are used separately to simulate the joint's dynamic characteristics. And then they are applied to dynamic modeling and finite-element modal analysis of the linear rolling guide. After this work, the linear rolling guide's dynamic characteristics are studied based on experimental modal analysis. By the method of comparing similar modal shape's frequency, the results of twice finite-element modal analysis are compared with the result of experimental modal analysis. Finally, the precision of multi-node dynamic model is analyzed.
