Drawing is the process that by means of the power of the machine and the direct stress of the mold makes the plate blank into hatch hollow parts, which is extensively used in actual applications. And the manufacture of cup parts is the basis of the drawing .On the premise of the quality of the parts, the research of reducing the limit drawing coefficient, decreasing working procedure, raising efficiency and reducing cost in the process of drawing is always the keys and difficulties.Through the investigation of the available process of drawing, the research status of the matrix cavity, especially the Curved Die is summarized in the paper, and the existing problems are mentioned also. Additionally, a new research method referred to a new surface of matrix cavity manufactured by drawing is proposed in this paper, which is an optimized Curved die. So in the process of drawing, the upper edge of the sidewall of the parts is keeping contact on tangent state with the surface of the matrix cavity, which reduces the frictional resistance and the resistance of the bending deformation caused by the fillet radius. And the special structure of the surface can provide compressive deformation in tangential orientation, which is effectively helpful to prevent wrinkling in sheet drawing process.By using mathematics analysis, this paper edits C language procedure to calculate curves of curved die surface, and also, it advances to adopt 0.618 golden section way in order to find limit drawing coefficient of the curved die drawing.By using DYNAFORM which is a kind of FEM analytical software, this paper states the simulation of the process of blank drawing, and finally work out the limited coefficient. By the same way, it also finds the limited coefficient of even die-drawing and subulate die-drawing, let them compare with the one of curved die drawing, this paper validate the advantage of curved die: take DQSK material for example, compared with even die drawing, the limit coefficient of curved die-drawing reduces by 33.9%; compared with subulate die-drawing, the limit coefficient of curved die-drawing reduces by 23.49%.In addition, this paper also analyses the influence of wrinkling and the reason to caused wrinkle. Through comparing, the influence law of the parameters of blank for- ming to limited draw coefficient is analyzed, such as thickness orientation distinctness coefficient, stiffening index and relative thickness, etc.Theoretical and imitational research of curved die drawing technology was lucubrated in this paper, the effect laws of process parameters on limit drawing coefficient which has been deduced in this paper provide a theoretical basis for choice and design of the process in practice.
