Microemulsion was dispersed system composed of oil water and emulsifier, it was isotropic thermodynamic stability translucent or transparent .The range of dispersed phase diameter was 1-100nm. However, the microemulsion was limited in industrial development due to the high emulsifier content, low concentration. According to the shortcomings,Organosilicon-acrylate microemulsion with emulsifiers content 2% and about 40% solid content was synthesized by seed emulsion polymerization combined with technology of core-shell polymerization .Organosilicon-acrylate microemulsion was synthesized.The effects of the reaction conditions on emulsion and film performance were determined: SDS and OP-10 as composite emulsifiers, the amonunt of emulsifier 5%,SDS/OP-10 1.25/1; the amount of D420%-25%; the mass ratio of acrylate monomer MMA/BA 1/1-3/2; the amonunt of initiator (APS) 0.28g; the amonunt of AA 0.5g; the amonunt of crosslinking agent (NQ-71)7%;Orthogonal experiments determined the reaction conditions on which the film with good water-resistance: the amount of D420%;the amonunt of emulsifier 2g; MMA/BA 1/1(mass ratio) ;the amonunt of crosslinking agent 7%.The emulsion could form transparent and obtained film.Its hydroscopicity 5.07%, solid contents 38.28%;storage stability over three months. The morphology of emulsion particles was characterized by TG,TEM,IR,DSC, which indicated that 46.12nm average particle size and the elliptic particles with a core-shess structure.It also showed that graft copolymer was successfully prepared by the copolymerization of vinyl-containing polysiloxane and polyacrylates while the unsaturated double bond disappeared after the polymerization. The thermal stability of organosilicon-acrylate microemulsion is better than the acrylate microemulsion .Compared with the organosilicon-acrylate emulsion, the organosilicon-acrylate microemulsion has smaller average particle size and higher solid contents, and its film is excellent in adhesive, water-resistance and hardness.
