Research On Scenic Water Treatment Of Chongqing Three Gorges Plaza

As the improvement of people's living standard and the increase of national economy in recent years, artificial lakes, channels and scenery-pools are emerging in the city squares, parks, residential area and large landmark architectures. Most artificial water systems are close or semi-close water system, which is the so-called dead water. The water body is rich in many nutrients including nitrogen and phosphorus, so that algae breeds abnormally, the transparency of the water body lowers, dissolved oxygen decreases and the water quality deteriorates. The phenomenon is called eutrophication of water bodies. The breeding of algae in water bodies will cause the consumption of dissolved oxygen, thus leads to the breeding of anaerobic microorganism, and the water body becomes black and smelly. So it is a serious problem for people to treat scenery-water pollutions.The internationally adopted ways to treat scenic water include: 1. aeration, 2. filtering method, 3. bacterial method. These ways are of respective advantages and disadvantages. Based on the detailed analysis and study of often used scenic water treatment techonologies at home and abroad , considering the characteristics of the scenic water in the Three Gorges Plaza, it is proposed that the scenic water should be treated by the fully automatic hydraulic aeration filter , and the scenic water treatment was studied experimentally. The experiment results show that:①the design scheme of treating scenic water in Three Gorges Plaza by fully automatic hydraulic aeration filter is of prominent merits such as good water quality, saving energy,water and land area, and fully automatic operation, and, meawhile, is of the characteristics free of chemicals pollution.②the fully automatic hydraulic aeration filter simulate the self-purification law of waterbodies in the nature, combine the three ways—aeration, filtering method, bacterial method in practice and change them thoroughly, and become a new system just as simulating respiration + excretion of the kidney + immune system or become the machine of getting rid of the stale and taking in the fresh + filters + sterilizer. The system will let the water flow on in basins, the effluent water quality from the system will meet the scenic water requirements, and the scenic water quality will be improved greatly. ③according to the yearly operation cost analysis of the scenic water treatment system in the Three Gorges Plaza,and compared with the conventional filter system,the fully automatic hydraulic aeration filter system will save operation cost of about sixty thousand and seven thousand RMB every year without taking into account the maitenance cost of replacing the proof-corrosion filter media of the conventional filter system.
