With the rapid development of the global industry and the constant improvement of the living standard, the pursuit of quality of living tends to be healthy and Envi- mental Friendly and the fiber with antibacterial property causes more and more concerns all around the world. Therefore, the development of a safety nontoxicity and continuous antibacterial composite is beneficial to improvement of living standards.This article mainly concerns on the preparation of an antibacterial fibres and determination of their antibacterial property. It is Ag-containing antibacterial fibre. It is mainly generated by the reaction of–CN and NH2OH in the polyacrylonitrile fibre .Then this modified polyacrylonitrile fiber was immersed in AgNO3 Solution of 10-4mol/L and the Ag+ with antibacterial property was chelated to the modified polyacrylonitrile fibre.Compared with a quaternary ammonium salt organic antiba- cterial fibre,indicate that the preparation of the Ag-containing antibacterial fibre is actrally more excellent than quaternary ammonium salt organic antiba- cterial fibre.Then the Escherichia coil and the Staphylococcus aureus subsp.aureus were taken as experimental bacteria.Using Halo test and Vaccine Absorption test respectively, the determination of the antibacterial fiber performance was performed. And the comparison of antibacterial properties of the Ag-containing antibacterial fibre and quaternary ammonium salt organic antibacterial fibre was taken ,Using Shake Flask method.By using JSM-6360LV scanning electronic mirror(SEM), morphology character- rization of these two antibacterial fibres was taken respectively. And the structure of the chelating fiber containing amid oxime group and CHPTMA was characterized by Nexux670FT infrared spectroscop(IR).Through above studies, the author draw the conclusions as follows:(1) The Ag-containing antibacterial fibre has antibaterial properties towards the Escherichia coil and the Staphylococcus aureus subsp.aureus,and the determination of the Ag-containing antibacterial fibre actrally more excellent than quaternary ammonium salt organic antibacterial fibre.(2) The result indicates that the Ag-containing antibacterial fibre has very good antibacterial effect to the Escherichia coil and the Staphylococcus aureus subsp. aureus.The inhibitory rate can reach over 90% and 70% respectively, after 15 times washing.(3) The morphology characterization of the polyacrylonitrile fibre and cotton fibre are obviously changed by using JSM-6360LV scanning electronic mirror(SEM)after antibacterial process.
