Study On Integrative Assessment Of Ecological Carrying Capacity In Poyang Lake Region

Eco-enviroment is the basis of human survival and development.Oniy being based on sustainable carrying capacity.natural resources and eco-envionment protection and,coordinating resources with environment carrying capacity can social economy actualiza the real sustainable development.The Ecological Carrying Capacity(ECC) is the very kind of such quantitative measuring index to preserve the steady of cco-system,limit people action under the eco-system support threshold.It's of great realistic significance to turn ecological carrying capacity theory and evaluation method into operable managtmend mode,andapply them into regional sustainable development,which could unveil efficiently the existing problems inregional development,explain how and why these problems develop and predict theiinfluence on the future regional development.This thesis takes Poyang lake region as research object,applying the ecological economics,the region geography,and the environmental science as the theory basis,and using integrative assessment to constructs a set of evaualtion index about the eological carrying capality.The research evaluates the present carrying capacity of ecosystem of Poyang lake region in view of ecosystem flexibility index number,resources carrying capacity and carryingpressure.The time of assessment is 2005 year.Research result indicates(1) The cindition of Poyang lake region is "medium stable- medium carrying-high pressure".The Self- adjusted and anti-jamming capability is still good,but waited for the enhancement;Overall carrying capacity was still good,the water,the cultivated land and the fishery resources are sufficient but the forestry resources and the animal husbandry resources must enhance;The resources pressure is big,and entire region belongs to the high pressure.each county is at the overload condition.Specially Nanchang County.The difference of internal region is quite remarkable,the resources and the population spatial distribution causes the local area resources supply to be intense unevenly,so that the ecosystem is overload.(2) The unreasonable using the immediate cause to drop the ecological carryingcapacity,the special climatic conditions and the matrix condition have provided the condition for lowing the ecological carryting capacity, the insufficiency investment and the unperfect manage system are limited the enhancement of ecology carrying capacity.With the ecosystem carrying capacity being low,some countermeasures about Improving ecological carrying capacity are put forward,which are strengthening the ecological engineering construction and the environmental protection work in order to enhance the system resilience;reasonable using and explorating natural resources will improve the resourse carrying;and controlling population will reduce the resources and the environment pressing in Poyang lake region...
