In this work, 12 coordination polymers and 7 superamolecular compounds have been synthesized with Mn (â…¡) and aromatic carboxylic acid by solvent-thermal reactions. The structures and properties of crystals have also been characterized, and the assembly rules of crystals syntheses were discussed.1. Four coordination polymers consists of 5-t-Bu-H2ip, H2nbdc and Mn (â…¡) have been synthesized by tuning the solvent ratio of binary solvent mixture, solvent molecules coordinated with Mn (â…¡) competed with ligands, as the ratio of organic solvent decreases, the number of solvent molecules coordinated with Mn (â…¡) decreased, coordination environment of metal ions also has varied, and further results in different structures of coordination polymers.2. Two coordination polymers with Mn (â…¡) and H3btc have been synthesized in DMF/C2H5OH and DMA. The SBUs of bi-nuclear Mn (â…¡) formed in DMA, and the SBUs of tri-nuclear Mn (â…¡) formed in DMF/C2H5OH due to the influence of stronger polar C2H5OH.3. Two coordination polymers with Mn (â…¡) and 5-NH2-H2ip have been synthesized in different solvents such as HO(CH2)2OH and H2O/DMA, owing to different space hindrance and space tropism of solvents molecules coordinated with Mn (â…¡), aroused the orientation of outspread of ligands varied, and results in different frameworks of coordination polymers.4. Three coordination polymers consists of Mn (â…¡) and H2ip have been synthesized in different solvents such as DMA and DMSO, owing to coordinated ability of solvents decreases, results in the number of solvent molecules coordinated with metal ions decreases, and different network topologies with different SBUs were formed.5. A coordination polymers and a supramolecular compound both with H3btc have been synthesized by using Mn(â…¡) salts with different anion in NMP, owing to influence of anion on the structures of coordination polymers, different coordinate ability of NO3- or Cl-, and reaction products are coordination polymer and supramolecular compound, respectively.6. Four supramolecular consist of aromatic carboxylates and ramification such as 5-NH2-H2ip,5-NO2-H2ip, 5-t-Bu-H2ip,5-OH-H2ip have been synthesized by dissolving in different solvents. Due to the ability of devote electron different substitutes in different aromatic carboxylates increases, ionization constant aromatic carboxylates will also decreases accordingly, and possibility of formation of dimmers increases, at last, it will results in structures of superamolecular compounds varied.7. Two superamolecular with Cl4-H2bdc have been synthesized by heated in NMP and C8H17OH /TEA, respectively. Different abilities of deprotonation of solvents results in different structures. When Cl4-H2bdc were heated in C8H17OH /TEA, one carboxyl of Cl4-H2bdcde was deprotonated, a superamolecular compound formed by hydrogen bonded interaction between deprotonated carboxyls and carboxylates, and there are guest molecules TEA accommodated in the voids, while Cl4-H2bdc were heated in NMP, both of two carboxyls were not deprotonated, a superamolecular compound formed by hydrogen bonded interaction between carboxylates and NMP.
